2026 Cadillac Vistiq Review, Specs, Price
Although it lacks the Escalade's spaciousness, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is a great option for a more compact and reasonably priced three-row vehicle due to its sophisticated electric drivetrain, appropriately opulent interior, and presidential appearance. Without requiring a hangar-sized garage, the Cadillac Vistiq offers an Escalade IQ-like experience thanks to its impressive power, good electric range, and opulent interior surroundings. The cabin is sleek, full of opulent embellishments, and more agile than its size would imply. The luxury brand's EV SUV lineup includes the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq as its mid-size three-row model. The Vistiq is a new nameplate for the Cadillac brand. It joins a growing number of EVs bearing the letters “IQ” in their names, including the smaller Optiq and Lyriq crossovers, the new flagship Celestiq sedan, and the Escalade IQ SUV. The Vistiq is slightly larger than the outgoing gas-powered XT6 SUV, and its styling is sharp, drawing inspiration from the brand’s other electric offerings. Under the floorboards is a variant of General Motors’ Ultium battery; two electric motors draw juice from the pack and deliver 615 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. Cadillac claims the Vistiq is good for about 300 miles per charge.
Depending on the trim and extras, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq can cost anywhere from $79,090 to $98,190. $79,090 for luxury. $79,590 for sport. $93,590 for Premium Luxury. Platinum costs $98,190. Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving technology is among the many upscale amenities included in the base Luxury trim, which starts at less than $80,000. Standard features include a panoramic sunroof, 21-inch alloys, a 23-speaker AKG sound system, a massive 33.0-inch infotainment display, and front seats with massage, ventilation, and heating. A Premium Luxury trim, which includes 22-inch wheels, suede microfiber headliner, active rear steering, and custom-quilted seat fabric, could cost extra. However, we believe even the entry-level model is sufficient for a high-end experience.
Two electric motors totaling 615 horsepower and all-wheel drive are standard on all Vistiq variants. An air-spring suspension system is an optional feature, while adaptive dampers are standard. An optional rear-wheel steering system is another option for the Vistiq, which increases agility and improves the large SUV's ability to drive in confined spaces and in urban areas. The Vistiq's steering is numb and uncharacteristic, but it bears its weight effectively. The less costly Luxury and Sport models have smaller wheels and a coil-sprung suspension, which makes the Vistiq feel more responsive and nimble for drivers who want a more involved driving experience. It only took 3.6 seconds to reach 60 mph. By the standards of the mid-size luxury SUV market, that is fast.
The Vistiq is rated to tow up to 5000 pounds, which will make it handy for occasional trailering tasks. As testing has shown, range is significantly decreased when pulling a heavy trailer. According to Cadillac, all Vistiq models can go about 300 miles between charges. It is claimed that the battery can add roughly 80 miles of driving in just 10 minutes when connected to a DC rapid charging connection. The Vistiq's real-world range on highway fuel economy routes was 250 miles. Additionally, we will test the Vistiq's battery using our DC fast charging method, and we will update this post with actual findings. Although the EPA has not released its MPGe figures yet, we anticipate that the Vistiq will be marginally less efficient than the smaller Lyriq but more efficient than the bigger Escalade IQ. We observed 75 MPGe in our real-world highway fuel efficiency test at 75 mph. Miles per gallon of gas equivalent, or MPGe, is an EPA statistic used to estimate the fuel efficiency of PHEV and EV vehicles.

A giant 33.0-inch curved display screen is the splashy tech feature inside the Vistiq’s cabin, and we can report it offers sharp graphics and relatively responsive software. It offers both touchscreen functionality as well as a center-console-mounted clickwheel that together provide several ways to interact with the system, and a separate smaller touchscreen that rises from the console’s leading edge provides access to climate controls and other functions. A 23-speaker stereo tuned by AKG is standard on all models.
Luxury three-row SUVs are common, but there aren’t many that come with an electric powertrain such as the one powering the Vistiq. The Tesla Model X is similarly priced and offers a third row but the Caddy’s way back seat is far more accommodating. The Vistiq’s high-end interior design is punctuated by wood trim rendered in several different colors and patterns, as well as nickel-finished metal accents. There are also some eco-friendly options, including a fabric trim option made from recycled materials. A second-row bench seat and seating for up to seven individuals are standard on the Luxury and Sport versions of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq. Standard in Premium Luxury and Platinum trims, second-row captain's chairs that seat six people are available in Luxury and Sport trims. The Phantom Blue Nouveauluxe quilted seats in my Premium Luxury test car were roomy, stylish, and quite comfortable. You can either walk through the middle of the second row to get to the third row, fold down the top part of the seats in the second row, or press a button on the seat to tilt it forward, which makes entry easier.
Important safety features include: Standard automated emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection; Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist; Standard adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode; and Standard Cadillac's incredibly powerful Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. Additionally, you can order an optional night vision feature that uses an infrared sensor to help detect pedestrians and animals in the vehicle's path. For more information about the Vistiq's crash test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Like Cadillac’s gas-powered XT6 SUV, the Vistiq comes with a powertrain warranty that trumps that of other premium people haulers. Cadillac currently covers the first dealer maintenance visit, but rivals such as the BMW iX and the Volvo EX90 offer longer periods of free maintenance. Limited warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles. Powertrain warranty covers 6 years or 70,000 miles. Complimentary maintenance is covered for the first visit.
the 2026 Vistiq is a good SUV. It can get expensive, but it delivers high-level luxury, technology and performance. With 615 horsepower, it's strong enough for just about all situations, and its refined ride makes travel a peaceful and relaxed experience. The cabin is airy, and interior materials are excellent, with plenty of pleasing-to-touch upholstery and wood trim. Even the third row can accommodate adults for short rides. The Vistiq also comes equipped with a ton of standard features, including the semi-automated Super Cruise driving system and a 33-inch touch screen.
