2026 Lucid Gravity Review, Specs, Price
The 2026 Lucid Gravity sets a new standard for upmarket electric SUVs thanks to excellent driving performance, a spacious and feature-packed interior and an impressive driving range. As a follow-up to the successful Air sedan, the Gravity nails its mission and furthers the brand's EV ethos. Quick acceleration, long driving range estimates, mega-sized cargo room. Startup Lucid Motors has decided to follow its stunning Air premium car with the 2026 Gravity SUV. The Gravity has two all-wheel drive electric motors, and according to Lucid, it can travel up to 450 miles between charges. We anticipate that figure to apply to range-topping versions, with less expensive models receiving smaller batteries with estimations of range that are nonetheless remarkable. The Gravity will be available in two- and three-row configurations, with the three-row offering accommodation for six or seven passengers. There is a sizable front trunk ahead of the windshield in place of the engine of a gas-powered SUV, and the seats fold flat to provide room for a lot of goods. Similar to the Air, the Gravity's cabin combines opulent materials with cutting-edge technology. The instrument cluster and infotainment system of the Gravity are shown on a 34-inch curved digital display screen that hovers over the dashboard.
The Gravity is a 2026 addition to Lucid's portfolio, joining the brand's outstanding Air sedan in the dealerships. Depending on the specification and extras, the 2026 Lucid Motors Gravity can cost anywhere from $81,550 to $141,550. $81,550 for the tour. $96,550 for Grand Touring. $141,550 for the Dream Edition. Only Touring, Grand Touring, and Dream Edition trims will be available in 2026, while Team believes a less expensive Pure trim will be added later. We would continue with the base Touring, which should be rather opulent and equipped with a plethora of standard comfort and convenience options.
Dual electric motors and all-wheel drive are standard on the Gravity SUV; a base variant with rear-wheel drive may be added in the future. The Gravity, like the Air sedan, will be available in two trim levels: Touring, which is expected to have 620 horsepower, and Grand Touring, which will have 828 horsepower. The Dream Edition model has 1070 horsepower, and a maximum performance Sapphire model with up to 1234 horsepower may be available in the future. The base model, which is probably going to be dubbed Pure, should have about 480 horsepower. Rear-wheel steering is an optional feature, and air-spring suspension is standard. Our examination of the Gravity revealed that the ride is well-controlled and the acceleration is quick. Additionally, for such a big and roomy SUV, handling is surprisingly quick. The Gravity Dream Edition was the fastest SUV team has ever tested, reaching 60 mph in 3.1 seconds at our test track. According to Lucid, the Gravity has a 6000-pound towing capacity.
The Gravity Grand Touring's estimated 450-mile range is still greater than that of the most efficient Rivian R1S or Tesla Model X, even though its sedan brother has a driving range of up to 516 miles per charge with its 112.0-kWh battery pack. The Gravity can juice rapidly via DC fast-charging, just like the Air. According to Lucid, with a 350-kW connection, it may extend the battery's range by up to 200 miles in just 15 minutes. The Gravity Dream Edition is rated by the EPA to get 90 mpg combined, 91 mpg in the city, and 87 mpg on the interstate. We will update this area with the results after the crew has had a chance to test the Gravity on our 200-mile interstate fuel-economy test route.

Lucid fancies itself a tech company rather than just an automaker. To drive that point home, the EV startup has equipped the Gravity with a massive 34.0-inch curved display screen that serves as everything from a speedometer to an FM radio. The display floats above the dashboard in a similar fashion to the one found in the Air sedan, but its layout is slightly different, and it runs the company's next-generation infotainment software. A second display is mounted on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, providing access to more vehicle functions, including climate control. A head-up display with an augmented reality navigation system is available too. All models come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Lucid has a reputation for luxury, and the Gravity lives up to it with a roomy cabin furnished with upscale, fashionable materials. There are interior layouts with two or three rows; the latter can accommodate seven or six passengers and can be equipped with a second-row bench or a pair of captain's chairs. The Gravity is the more family-friendly of the two, even if the Air sedan served as inspiration for the interior design. The cargo area is spacious and nearly minivan-like thanks to the second and third row seats that fold flat and take up surprisingly little room when stored. With all the seats folded, we can fit 38 luggage, 19 cases behind the second row, and 6 carry-on suitcases behind the third row. A pair of picnic tables with built-in device charging ports extend from the front seatbacks for passengers in the back seats, a unique center console between the front seats has movable bins and cubbies, and a handy front-trunk storage area offers a discreet place to store less frequently used items.
Although Lucid has not yet disclosed a list of the Gravity's driver-assistance capabilities, we anticipate that it will include the same technology as the Air. Visit the websites of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to learn more about the Gravity's crash-test results. Important safety aspects probably consist of: Pedestrian detection and standard automated emergency braking. standard lane-keeping assistance and lane-departure warning. Adaptive cruise control with lane-centering capability is standard.
Lucid's warranty coverage is very similar to that of rival Tesla. Neither brand offers complimentary maintenance, but electric motors and battery components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles. Limited warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles. Powertrain warranty covers eight years or 100,000 miles. No complimentary scheduled maintenance.
One great SUV is the 2026 Gravity. It distinguishes itself from competitors with a unique blend of functionality, performance, and stylish design. With its powerful drivetrain, the Gravity can accelerate like a Tesla and has a maximum driving range that leads its class. It handles and rides well, too. The cabin is roomy and cozy, and the entertainment system has an easy-to-use interface and beautiful graphics. Although it is not inexpensive, this Lucid is a fantastic option if you are looking for an enjoyable and useful all-electric family hauler.
