With a spacious cabin, several standard equipment, and a range of energetic, fuel-efficient engine options, the 2026 Ford Explorer is a multipurpose and competent SUV. Its infotainment system is likewise remarkable and up to date. However, the SUV's driving occasionally feels fake, and the third row is claustrophobic. As a three-row family hauler, the Ford Explorer performs flawlessly, but it lacks upscale style and general sophistication. For three-row family schlepping, the Ford Explorer remains a reliable mid-size option. The Expedition's cabin is contemporary and roomy in the first two rows following a much-needed mid-cycle improvement that improved its interior game last year.
